A Witty Saying Proves Nothing (Voltaire)

Nothing. No thing. No person. No one. None.

A friend wrote: "It is beauty that separates wisdom from knowledge."

I replied: "The distillation process - like transcendent steam rising from the crown of our thinking heads - is wisdom lifting off the lake of our entangled knowledge-mind. This process to gaze upon is an act of beauty. It is beauty."

His response: "In a class once there was a guest speaker talking about the gaze of literature ... I spent twenty minutes thinking the 'Gays of Literature."
