Until the Quiet Comes (Kahlil Joseph)

Stark, haunting visual poem as short film. Mesmerizing, ghost-like, pulling the watcher by a gossamer thread of fascination, compassion and longing into shared transcendence of world where things weren't better and ended in a note of never being able to go back to right wrongs, mend hearts, or unknot chains wrongfully cast on human freedom. Beautiful.

By Indian born actor Kahlil Joseph. Some of his other compelling works include Jung at Heart and the music vid Belhaven Meridian for Shabazz Palaces.  Music by Flying Lotus.
